We are looking for a skilled and motivated Car Audio & 12V Installer to join our team at Cartronics, the region’s leader in custom vehicle electronics and accessories. In this role, you’ll be responsible for professionally installing, troubleshooting, and integrating aftermarket audio systems, remote starters, lighting, safety equipment, and other 12-volt accessories into a wide range of vehicles. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with vehicle disassembly, wiring, and electronic integration—or a strong willingness to learn. Attention to detail, pride in craftsmanship, and a passion for cars and technology are essential. You’ll work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where quality and customer satisfaction come first. Responsibilities: What You’ll Do: • Install car audio systems, speakers, amplifiers, and subwoofers • Wire and install remote start systems, alarms, and backup cameras • Upgrade vehicle lighting, dash cams, radar detectors, and other 12V accessories • Troubleshoot wiring and electrical systems • Maintain a clean, organized work environment and deliver high-quality workmanship Qualifications: What We’re Looking For: • Experience in car audio or 12-volt installations (preferred) • Strong attention to detail and pride in your work • Basic knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and wiring • Ability to use power tools and diagnostic equipment • A team player with a great attitude and strong work ethic Bonus Points For: • MECP certification or formal training • Fabrication skills (dash kits, amp racks, etc.) • Experience with marine, motorcycle, or powersports audio About Company: Cartronics proudly stands as a family-owned and operated business with a rich history spanning 43 years in the Middle Tennessee area.
