Base pay range $60,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr Job Description The Warehouse Manager manages the day-to-day operations of the commissary by effectively managing Warehouse Supervisors, Leads, Drivers and Warehouse Workers, and interfacing with Amtrak personnel. As a senior leader in the operations function, Warehouse Manager implements and drives strategies to achieve Company and client Amtrak objectives. Responsibilities include: Managing Warehouse Supervisors and staff to ensure operational excellence and compliance with SOPs. Problem solving and evaluating work methods, procedures, controls, and staffing to ensure efficient operations. Coaching, training, and developing warehouse staff. Recruiting, hiring, training, and supporting team members. Setting goals for teams and providing performance feedback. Ensuring compliance with labor agreements, safety standards, and regulations. Leading safety initiatives and maintaining safety standards. Managing administrative tasks including records, inventories, and compliance documentation. Overseeing labor management, scheduling, and wage/hour compliance. Facilitating communication within the organization and with clients. Supporting audits and maintaining safety and operational standards. Promoting employee engagement and adherence to company policies. Qualifications: 3-5 years of relevant leadership experience in operations. Experience in customer service, foodservice, route sales, or related fields is a plus. Bachelor's degree preferred. Valid driver's license and ability to obtain DOT certification. Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and computer skills. Familiarity with inventory control and handling perishable products. Experience in vending, food service, or retail industries preferred. Ability to work various shifts in a 24/7 operation.
