Job Description

An opportunity is available for a General Education Science teacher to provide instruction for students in grades K-12. This contract position supports a full school year (CSY) in a K-12 educational setting located in Auburn, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective science instruction aligned with general education curriculum standards.
• Develop lesson plans that accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to promote academic growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student success and school initiatives.
• Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment conducive to learning.

Qualifications:

• Certification or licensure to teach General Education with a focus on Science.
• Experience teaching science subjects across K-12 grade levels preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet the needs of all students.
• Commitment to fostering a safe and supportive learning environment.
