The Bus Aide will help students board the bus, depart from the bus, and arrive safely at their destination. Maintaining a safe environment for students and ensuring the Driver can focus on driving responsibilities are the most important tasks of the Bus Aide. Responsibilities include helping the Driver focus on driving the assigned vehicle, greeting students pleasantly, helping students as necessary, ensuring all students arrive safely at their destination, performing child checks at the conclusion of every tour of duty, always maintaining a safe environment on the bus, and performing other duties as assigned. The position guarantees a minimum of 25 hours per week. Job requirements include being at least 19 years old and availability from 6 AM to 6 PM Monday to Friday with a mid-day break. The starting hourly pay rate is $17.04.
