About the Role: Professional Driver

About SafeRide America

SafeRide America is a nonprofit, professional designated driver service where we drive  people and their cars safely home. We serve the Atlanta metro area and are looking for  Lead Drivers who are professional, responsible, and friendly to join our mission of proactively preventing impaired driving.

Shift Schedule

• Available 7 nights a week
• Shifts start as early as 6:00 PM and run as late as 4:00 AM
• Minimum shift commitment: 6 PM – 11 PM
• Set your own schedule

Compensation

• Earn cash tips nightly (commissions paid weekly via direct deposit)
• Commission-based + generous tips
• Bonus opportunities for drivers that actively distribute promo cards in bars
• Top performers earn $100–$200+ per night

Responsibilities

• You will drive clients in  their own vehicles safely to their destinations
• Partner with a company provided “Chase Driver” who follows behind in their own car
• Interact with bar and restaurant staff to promote SafeRide services
• Provide excellent customer service from pickup to drop-off
• Maintain professional appearance and uphold SafeRide’s safety standards
• Distribute marketing materials and generate goodwill with venue partners

✅ Qualifications

• 21 years or older
• Valid Georgia driver’s license
• Clean MVR (No more than 3 points in the last 3 years)
• Able to pass a  criminal background check
• Well-groomed and professional in appearance
• Familiarity with  manual transmission a plus
• Personable, outgoing, and able to sell SafeRide’s value to patrons
• Available  after 5 PM , including optional weekends and holidays
• Reliable and punctual with your own transportation

Dress Code

• Professional attire required (Think: clean cut, business casual or above)
• The sharper you look, the better your tips and success in earning rides
