Job Summary:
Join us for an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team on Saturday, July 12, 2025, as a Proctor or Room Supervisor! We are seeking dedicated individuals to ensure a smooth testing experience for students. Training will be provided the week prior to the event, and you'll receive a comprehensive document to familiarize yourself with your responsibilities. This is a one-day event where you will help maintain the integrity of the testing environment by monitoring students and ensuring compliance.
Job Specifications:
- Job Type: Temporary Event Role, July 12th
- Location: Seattle, WA
- Pay Rate: Proctor - $126/day; Room Supervisor - $173/day
- Shift: Start time at 7:00 AM, typically finishing by 2:00 PM
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Monitor students to ensure adherence to testing protocols.
- Prevent access to phones and other cheating methods during the exam.
- As a Room Supervisor, lead the team in one testing room, providing guidance and support.
- Assist with any accommodations needed for students during the exam.
- Attend a brief training session prior to the event to prepare for your role.
- Review provided documents to gain a better understanding of responsibilities.
- Maintain a comfortable and professional environment for all participants.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in educational or testing environments is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to enforce rules fairly.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Comfortable attire is encouraged for the day of the event.
