Job Description

Non-Ferrous Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Safety and Compliance:

• Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations .
• Collaborate with the Safety Committee to implement best practices.
• Provide a secure work environment for employees, customers, and visitors.

Operational Excellence:

• Coordinate nonferrous receiving activities to maximize processing efficiency.
• Optimize equipment and personnel allocation for material processing and scrap loading .
• Implement approved process improvements to enhance refining quality and safety.

Layout Planning and Inventory Management:

• Create and maintain a layout plan for NF processing and shipping areas.
• Monitor work-in-progress and finished goods storage.
• Ensure proper workflow and inventory control.

Equipment Maintenance and Purchasing:

• Inspect department equipment to maintain optimal functionality.
• Submit work orders for maintenance as needed.
• Manage purchase orders for equipment enhancements.

Quality Control and Reporting:

• Evaluate incoming nonferrous material for adherence to quantity and quality guidelines .
• Meet contractual obligations for quantity and quality.
• Prepare reports on processing time and validate scale accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Experience : Proven track record in nonferrous operations or related field.
• Leadership Skills : Ability to supervise and coordinate teams effectively.
• Process Improvement : Implement and communicate process enhancements.
• Inventory Expertise : Familiarity with inventory control and quality assurance.
• Results-Driven : Strive for excellence in refining quality and profitability.
