Job Description

An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher specializing in high school education for a full semester contract in Cleveland, OH. This role focuses on providing targeted support as an Intervention Specialist within a high school setting, offering an impactful experience working with a social-emotional caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction and interventions for approximately six students with social-emotional needs.
• Collaborate closely with Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) assigned to the classroom.
• Partner with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement and adjust individualized behavior plans.
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to support academic and behavioral growth.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and development.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
• Experience working in a high school setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of behavioral interventions and social-emotional learning.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams including RBTs and BCBAs.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to fostering student success through personalized educational approaches.
