Elastic Stack Security Engineer Job Locations: US-DC ID 2024-1990 Category Management Position Type Regular Full-Time FLSA Status Exempt Overview Responsibilities: Strong knowledge of ELK stack Experience in JavaScript and HTML Designing, building, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing ELK platform Installing and configuring ELK on VMware, OpenStack Using Elastic search Indices, APIs, Kibana Dashboards, Logstash, and Log Beats Creating or using plug-ins for ELK like authentication and authorization Enhancing open-source ELK for custom capabilities Integrating ELK with enterprise tools and APIs for authentication and authorization Capacity planning of Elastic Search Cluster Implementing complex development scenarios using Python, Java, and Go Using Elastic Search Cluster Monitoring Tools (Marvel) Knowledge of scripting languages like JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, etc. Qualifications: Security experience Hands-on development, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of systems using Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Beats, Kafka, or Splunk Experience as an Elastic Engineer Experience with CyberArk engineering Knowledge of data retention and lifecycle management planning Linux configuration and administration experience Bachelor's Degree in computer science, IT, or related field, or 5 years of related experience Physical Requirements: The physical demands are representative of those required to perform essential functions.
