Responsibilities:
Design, fabricate, and repair complete and partial dentures using traditional and digital methods, including setting up teeth, processing, relining, trimming, and polishing.
Fabricate various dental appliances such as nightguards, sportsguards, and Essix retainers using traditional techniques (thermoforming, acrylic work) and digital workflows (intraoral scan, CAD design, 3D printing).
Construct and trim both digital and conventional nightguards, ensuring proper fit, comfort, and occlusal contact.
Produce duplicate models and diagnostic casts for orthodontic cases, including model pouring, trimming, and precise mounting on articulators.
Interpret dentist’s prescriptions and specifications to ensure dental prostheses and appliances meet exacting standards.
Operate and maintain specialized dental lab equipment including pressure pots, polymerization units, scanners, and 3D printers.
Monitor case distribution and control production workflow between departments to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality control protocols.
Keep accurate records of each case, materials used, and fabrication steps as per regulatory and company standards.
Collaborate with other lab personnel and cross-train in additional departments to support operational flexibility and continuous improvement.
Skills required:
College diploma
7+ years of direct/related experience
Registered permit with SRDHDTD
Well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills
