Job Description: Wells Fargo is seeking a Data Management Analyst 4 to support the Financial Regulatory Reporting division in a contingent capacity. This role will focus on complex data management challenges related to regulatory reporting quality assurance (QA) and transactional testing in commercial banking and lending. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, experience working with regulatory and compliance frameworks, and the ability to conduct data quality validation, root cause analysis, and audit/compliance testing. Key Responsibilities: Consult on complex data management initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning. Review and analyze multi-faceted data challenges, evaluating multiple factors including data lineage, regulatory compliance, and reporting accuracy. Contribute to data quality and validation efforts, ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements. Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve data defects in regulatory reporting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including corporate risk, audit, independent testing, and compliance teams to maintain data integrity. Perform requirements gathering, test script creation, and QA testing for financial reporting processes. Utilize SQL, Excel (VLookups & Pivot Tables), and data mining techniques for data reconciliation and analysis. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, consulting, training, military, or education. Strong data analysis and validation experience, particularly in financial regulatory reporting. Experience with complex SQL queries, data lineage, data mining, and data governance. Proficiency in Excel (VLookups & Pivot Tables) for data validation and reporting. Strong audit/compliance experience in a regulated financial environment. Excellent written and verbal communication and technical writing skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with FRY14Q regulatory reporting and commercial lending products (Wells Fargo or Client experience preferred). Understanding of risk management frameworks and the risk/control environment. Experience in Corporate Risk, Audit, or Independent Testing. Moderate coding skills in SQL and Python. Project management experience, including planning and stakeholder collaboration. Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and accounting reconciliations. Strong stakeholder management and ability to work across internal teams. Additional Information: This position requires the ability to conduct detailed testing and validation of regulatory reports and collaborate with internal partners.
