Job Description
Required Education:
• BS/MS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field plus
Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
• 0-4 years of experience.
• Prior experience in Hair Color/Care or Consumer Products formulation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and positive attitude.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Quick learner.
• Strong data management (Excel, etc.).
Job Duties:
• Position will include tasks to successfully make hair color laboratory batches, conducting product stability, evaluating color performance, and recording and reporting results.
• Experience with lab equipment such as batching equipment, pH meters, viscometer, and Microsoft applications, and interaction with raw material suppliers is a plus.
• Ability to lift bulk materials, fill consumer laboratory samples, and prepare hair tresses with application of consumer products and CGMP practices required.
• Assist in the maintenance of laboratory raw materials, glassware, supplies, and waste.
• Communicate formulation stability and efficacy results.
