CAD Designer – Direct Hire – York, PA
$50-$90K Salary based on experience level

Manpower is hiring a CAD Designer for a well-known industrial manufacturer local to York. In this role, you will be responsible for designing new models and updated current models, draft parts and assemblies. This is a direct hire opportunity offering competitive health benefits and PTO!
Additional duties include:

• Carry out design assessment and make a design plan. Design and draft parts and assemblies using CAD software ( Inventor – Autodesk Products).
• Actively carry out tasks related to the design project.
• Assure design control, using BCC best design practices and processes.
• Follow up throughout the project and after project ends evaluate and measure the result of the project.
• Support project members in carrying out tasks related to the project.

Required Education and Experience

• 3 years in a HVAC and /or automotive manufacturing environment.
• Strong CAD or Design skills as per the required discipline.
• Associate degree or Technical diploma.
• Understanding of customer requirements and knowledge/experience in standard Quality tools: 8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA, APQP/PPAP, and Lean tools as Kaizen, 5S, Five Why analysis, Poka Yoke.
• Knowledge/experience in Management systems standards: ISO9001. ISO/TS16949.
• Knowledge of manufacturing MRP systems.
• Possible travel to customer locations to support product design activity, sales, and service personnel.
