Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and bilingual Bank Teller / Customer Service Representative fluent in English and either Mandarin or Cantonese to join our local banking team. This role is ideal for someone with 2+ years of experience in banking or financial customer service who is passionate about delivering excellent client support in a culturally diverse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional service to customers in English and Mandarin or Cantonese , both in-person and over the phone.

  • Process a wide range of financial transactions: deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing, and loan payments.

  • Assist customers with account inquiries, maintenance, new account openings, and closures.

  • Leverage your experience to identify customer needs and recommend suitable banking products and services.

  • Handle escalated customer concerns professionally and efficiently.

  • Ensure accuracy and security of cash drawer, following all compliance protocols.

  • Mentor or assist less-experienced tellers when needed; help foster a team-oriented atmosphere.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English and either Mandarin or Cantonese (spoken required; written Chinese a plus).

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a bank teller or financial customer service role.

  • High school diploma or GED required; college coursework in business, finance, or accounting is a plus.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.

  • Proven ability to handle cash and transactions accurately and efficiently.

  • Comfortable using banking software and Microsoft Office tools.
